Jewish individuals are often overrepresented in high status, cultural contexts, and powerful positions in governments. While they may be overrepresented in certain fields, they still are not the majority in any context outside of a synagogue. A personal anecdote illustrates the temporary nature of this prominence, as the speaker's status as clergy helped them receive rapid medical treatment, but a nurse predicted that in a decade, it would be favorable to be clergy to the Indians.
