Former service members and Department of Defense employees founded Moultrie, an auditing company that verifies the claims of service providers on the Akash platform. Service providers list their attributes, and auditors validate these claims by checking documentation. Users define their application requirements in an STL file and create buy orders on the blockchain, where providers meeting the criteria can bid to fulfill the order.
Akash Network is a decentralized cloud computing platform that leverages unused compute capacity around the world. It makes this capacity available to others, and provides a decentralized peer-to-peer model for managing and paying for these resources in an online marketplace.
