Vedanta Talks - Swami Sarvapriyananda
Seminar on Buddhism and Hinduism and Jainism philosophies of consciousness
Consciousness is experienced when there is something to be conscious of. This can be illustrated by a PowerPoint projector where the intense light is only visible when an object, like the presenter's face, is in the beam. Similarly, the light exists even when there is no object, but it needs an object to manifest and be seen. The object reveals the light while the light reflects the object.
