The Open-Ended Nature of Human Behavior
Human behavior is distinctly different from that of other creatures, as it is not limited by a finitely long list of coded behaviors in DNA. Unlike other organisms, a human being's behaviors cannot be fully enumerated, and the open-ended nature of human behavior allows for continual addition of new behaviors. Evolutionary psychology offers limited explanation, as it only states that DNA shapes or influences human behavior without providing a full account of this influence. While studies show similarity in behaviors among people with similar DNA, the mechanism of this influence remains unspecified.
