Smart people are easier to hypnotize
Smart people are more susceptible to hypnosis because they don't believe they can be hypnotized, making them more programmable as they lower their defenses. In contrast, dumb people are harder to hypnotize because they are more defensive. This suggests that intelligence does not necessarily help in understanding the world.
