The Nature of Knowledge and the External World
All knowledge is knowledge of oneself, and therefore, in some mysterious way, one is not different from the external world that one knows. This implies that what one is aware of is a state of one's nervous system, and there is no other knowledge beyond that. However, this does not suggest that one's nervous system is the only existing reality, nor does it imply that there is nothing beyond one's nervous system.
