How Recognition-Based Interrogation of the Brain Can Extract Personal Data
Your brain can recognize things faster than you even realize. Researchers have found a way to use EEG devices to detect this recognition, even if you're not consciously aware of it. By flashing subliminal images during video games, they were able to gather personal data such as PIN numbers and home addresses. This same technique has even been used in criminal investigations to see if suspects recognize details of crime scenes.
