Cold Water Exposure increases wakefulness specially in morning

Exposing oneself to cold water for one to three minutes through a cold shower or ice bath can increase alertness by releasing adrenaline and dopamine, raising core body temperature, and stimulating the brain to increase alertness and focus. The interaction between the body and brain acts as a thermoregulatory system, causing the body temperature to rise after a brief exposure to cold, leading to increased alertness. This method is effective for waking up and enhancing motivation and focus.
