Getting rid of a Toxic Belief

We should ask ourselves whenever we're thinking about our lives in a serious way, is it making me happy? If it's not making me happy, it's not going to make other people happy. Happiness is probably the least selfish thing that you can pursue because if you're happy, you're going to make a lot of other people happy as well. If you're miserable, you're going to make other people miserable. Getting rid of a toxic belief can help reduce stress, which is functional up to a certain point but becomes paralyzing beyond that. So, it's important to ask yourself if getting rid of the belief will enable you to get rid of some stress.
