Comprehensive Education in Tap Dance and Music

The educational program integrates tap dance, music, and history classes in a balanced curriculum to develop well-rounded tap dancers who are knowledgeable in various aspects of dance, music, and history. Students take classes in dance movement practices, music theory, and tap dance technique, with a focus on Efra diasporic dances. The curriculum includes history classes in dance, jazz, black American history, and tap dance. Additionally, students have the option to specialize in areas such as pedagogy and specific tap dancing techniques like the Leon Collins repertoire.
