The Importance of Petawatts in Solving Climate Change

Are you ready to solve climate change? Get ready to learn about petawats, a unit of energy. Most of our electricity comes from fossil fuels, but we need to change that by 2050. A petawat is a trillion kilowat hours, and we currently generate 25 trillion kilowat hours per year. However, over a third of our electricity generation is already clean, and projections show that by 2050 we could have 25 petawathours of clean electricity.
