How each practice addresses a perennial problem

Gnosis can be empowered by a core capacity for realizing higher states of consciousness. This is being used to cultivate practices such as sati, prajna, communitas and inner dialogue. And this results in a reliable response of amelioration and alleviation of the perennial problems. I would say that's enlightenment. At least the enlightenment that I'm trying to reverse engineer.
