Two types of games exist: finite and infinite. Finite games have known players, fixed rules, and clear objectives with definitive winners and losers. Examples include sports, which have a clear start and end. Infinite games, however, involve both known and unknown players, adaptable rules, and the goal of perpetuating the game itself. Life encompasses infinite games, such as career and education, where no definitive 'win' is achievable. Adopting a finite mindset in these infinite arenas leads to negative consequences, including decreased trust, cooperation, and innovation. It is essential to focus on the ongoing journey rather than a finite goal.
