Transitioning from managing one store to six stores within 30 days brought the challenge of leading a larger team effectively, causing nervousness and self-doubt in meetings. Despite the nerves, consistent self-assessment and coaching after every meeting led to gradual improvement over time. By breaking down and analyzing each speaking engagement, the speaker was able to coach themselves towards becoming a more effective communicator.
