The Importance of Dwellling Inwardly and Seeking Divine Wisdom
In the midst of difficult circumstances, David and Paul both understood the importance of focusing on the Lord and seeking wisdom from the secret place. Just as Jesus would withdraw to spend time with God, they recognized the power of dwelling inwardly and beholding the beauty of the Lord. While their outer lives may have been chaotic, they chose to prioritize their inner life and stayed attuned to the wisdom and guidance of God. This serves as a reminder that in times of crisis, our reliance on human wisdom alone is insufficient; we must seek wisdom from the secret place and maintain an awareness of the presence of God.
