#6 - How to Break the Spirit of Fear off your Life w/Dr Michael Cocchini
The Deep End w/Taylor Welch
Exploring the Link Between Fear, Regret, and Trauma Recovery
Fear calibrated at level 100 generates anxiety. Removing regret from the past eliminates anxiety from the future as regret fuels fear and anxiety. Dwelling on past regrets leads to a pattern of justifying future fears. Great leaders illustrate this by obsessing over past dislikes, leading to self-fulfilling prophecies of feared outcomes. This consistent loop of reliving the past characterizes trauma patients, triggering the brain to recreate traumatic experiences. Trauma recovery involves shifting from post-traumatic stress disorder to post-traumatic growth by transcending fear and embracing desire, thereby changing the perspective from the past to the future.
