Complacency can result in consent to adverse encounters, as demonstrated by Lahontai’s unawareness of the duel he had engaged in. Therefore, it is essential to maintain strict adherence to righteous living, avoiding any flirtation with evil, and ensuring that one never gives adversaries an advantage. Maintaining commitment to commandments is key to finding genuine happiness, standing firm against deception and temptation.
