Capitalists Are Greedy

Politicians often reject beneficial policies, such as reforming prison terms, out of concern for electoral repercussions. The fear of negative backlash from constituents can keep them from making decisions that are in the public's best interest, highlighting the delicate balance between political viability and good governance.
