The Effects of Intrinsic Motivation on Job Satisfaction
In 20 15, my colleagues and i published some research in journal of vocational behavior. And what we found was that for intrinsic motivation, the effects of intrinsic motivation on job satisfaction were just consistently good throughout the workday. But these extrinsic reasons for doing our work, so because some one else wanted me to do it, or because the situation demanded it, when employees reported doing those things, that actually benefited their job satisfaction.
