NOTE

The Definition of Faith Deconstruction

In our research, we found that deconstruction has multiple definitions, with some people not defining it at all. We propose that faith deconstruction is a postmodern process of rethinking one's faith without relying on scripture as a standard. We encourage Christians to ask hard questions, engage doubts, and create welcoming spaces for questioning, but not label it as deconstruction. Deconstruction rejects external authority of truth and is rooted in postmodernism.
