The concept of the three deepest desires involves defining what one authentically desires in life before they die. These desires act as guideposts, preventing singular or binary thinking and providing balance. By having three desires, individuals are pulled forward in life without being stuck. The exercise helps in decision-making, balancing, and orientation, evolving over time as one's desires may change. It serves as a reminder to live guided by what matters most, rather than sacrificing the present for an uncertain future.
