The early days of using retool and observing user behavior
At the beginning, the company closely monitored users using retool, either physically or digitally. They had an integration that notified them whenever someone used the product, allowing them to watch exactly what they were doing. They would proactively reach out to customers if there were any issues, even if the customers didn't initially report them. Customers were more receptive to talking when contacted about an issue they encountered while using the product. This approach proved beneficial as it demonstrated excellent customer support and helped improve the product.
