When the divine disappears, we crucify it. This is true for Martin Luther King, Gandhi, Lincoln, JFK, RFK, and even in our own lives. Most people reject the obvious because it's scary. The lesson in resurrection is that heroes reach their lowest point before finding spiritual solutions. It's like the all-is-lost moment in storytelling. In real life, it's like an alcoholic denying their problem until they hit rock bottom. The resurrection moment is when they acknowledge the issue and seek help, like going to AA or rehab. However, it's not smooth sailing from there. It's about taking one day at a time. For me, setting down a starter while doing the dishes was my resurrection moment. But every day is still a challenge.
