High levels of motivation can lead to a loss of control, as seen in extreme cases like patients with eating disorders needing to be restrained. In contrast, moving away from motivation allows for more freedom of choice and contentment, where individuals can make decisions without internal struggle. The yogis discovered that motivation and choice are antagonistic - by increasing the insula and serotonin levels, individuals can achieve more freedom and contentment in life.
Today I'm going to teach you why you should be less motivated and how to achieve less motivation. This may sound insane because people are usually suffering from a lack of motivation. The problem isn't that you aren't motivated enough the problem is you are to motivated in the wrong direction.
