Why You Should Pick Yourself and Share Your Work

If you have a novel that has been rejected by agents and editors, instead of endlessly rewriting and polishing it, share it with 50 people you trust. If it strikes a chord and spreads, someone may call you to publish another novel. If it doesn't spread, write another novel. There are no gatekeepers anymore, so if you have something to share or work you want to do, go do it. If you want to do marketing, don't wait for a job, volunteer to do marketing for a charity or start your own project. We are defined by the work we choose to do, so there is no better moment to pick yourself and share your work than now.
