NOTE

Challenges with Utopian Socialism and State Ownership of Production

This text argues that the philosophy of complete state ownership and abolition of inheritance doesn't work due to conflicts with human nature and motivation. People want to support their children and don't want their wealth to automatically go to the state upon death. The idea of the state owning all means of production is also problematic as it goes against the natural process of allowing businesses to fail and successful ones to thrive. This centralized control leads to bloated and inefficient institutions, similar to some government agencies.
