The Legacy of Alan Watts
Alan Watts returned to California in 1971 and began assembling a collection of his essential lectures at his father's suggestion. In 1972, a series of videos titled 'the essentials' was produced, covering specific subjects like God, time, ego, death, nothingness, and meditation. By 1973, electronic college courses from recordings were also being assembled. After his father's passing in 1973, his final wish was to continue his work without his body, which seems to have come true. The podcast was made possible by a grant from the Rozuto Foundation and is being produced with the help of the Ramdas Be Here Now podcast network.
