Professor Eric Talley suggests Tesla could offer a new pay package to Musk, now that Tesla is a Texas company.
Texas courts have been courting Musk, which might mean a friendlier venue.
However, the tax treatment of a new package would be less favorable, and wouldn't eliminate a nearly $350 million attorney fee award resulting from the voided package.
