Automated vigilance surpasses human intervention

It is predicted that a small percentage of the population may exhibit vigilance decrement, but it will not affect the overall safety statistics. The necessity for human intervention is decreasing rapidly, with the belief that by the end of this year or at the latest by next year, human involvement might actually decrease safety, as demonstrated in the example of automated elevators being safer than those operated by people.
