Age of onset and the intensity of fetishes
Fetishes that develop at a younger age tend to be more extreme. If someone starts liking bondage at a young age, they are more likely to be extremely into it as an adult. If someone discovers it later on, it's more likely to be a mild interest. There are two different ways fetishes can develop.
