Increase your creativity with Non Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR)

Practicing Non Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) and yoga-nigra for at least 10 minutes, but preferably 20 to 30 minutes, of lying motionless with eyes closed and allowing the mind to drift can increase creativity. Focusing on relaxing through long exhale breathing and doing a body scan can enhance the brain states associated with divergent thinking. This practice is linked to a 65% increase in dopamine release, which is crucial for divergent thinking. It is recommended to do NSDR at least once a week for 20 to 30 minutes, but some individuals can do it for up to 60 minutes. The speaker personally practices NSDR daily for 10 to 30 minutes. NSDR scripts are available on YouTube at no cost.
