Learning from Hindsight Mistakes

School closures during the pandemic were initially supported due to limited knowledge about the virus, but were later realized to be detrimental once more information was available. Those against school closures initially were acting on fear and not based on real health information. The unpredictability of virus behavior highlights the challenge of making such decisions in future pandemics.
