Van Gogh's Turbulent Life and Posthumous Success
Vincent Van Gogh started painting at 27, sold only one painting during his lifetime, and struggled with mental health issues and possibly drug addiction. He spent time in an insane asylum where he created some of the world's most expensive art. It was only after his death, thanks to his brother's efforts, that Van Gogh achieved posthumous success.
