The concept of satisfaction can be expressed as wanting less but also wanting more, which involves ambition and progress. Progress towards a financial goal is more important than attaining the goal itself. Humans are designed to make progress in life as happiness largely comes from it. While striving for more, it's crucial to avoid getting stuck in the 'cult of more' and to manage the tendency to think that there is 'enough.' Making continuous progress in virtue, love, family, and faith is essential for true satisfaction. Satisfaction is not achieved by having everything, but by appreciating what one has in relation to what one wants. Ambitions should be directed towards faith, family, friendship, and serving others, rather than solely towards money, power, and pleasure. It's important to set goals but also not to delude oneself into thinking that achieving those goals will bring complete fulfillment. Instead, achieving those goals should free a person to pursue the love they desire in life.
