Causes of Disconnection in Human Relationships and Spirituality

There are several common actions that lead to disconnection in human relationships and spirituality. Firstly, untruthfulness, whether towards others, oneself, or God, creates isolation. Secondly, anger and contention drive people apart, making it incompatible with unity. Additionally, anything that repels the spirit isolates individuals as the spirit promotes unity. Another cause of disconnection is the tendency to resort to 'fight, flight, or freeze' response during difficult situations; leading to emotional isolation and withdrawal from support, especially evident in cases of anxiety or depression. Despite the need for connection during such times, the natural impulse is to isolate oneself, emphasizing the counterproductive nature of this response.
