The key is to show love to others before talking about Jesus. Instead of pushing people to come to church, it's important to love them, wait for the Holy Spirit to work in their lives, and then gently introduce them to the idea of Jesus. It's essential to go beyond just inviting people to church and focus on genuinely loving and caring for them. By discipiling people in this way, we can break free from the pressure of consumerist attitudes and prioritize loving others before anything else.

Spiritual formation is less about what we ask people to do and more about who we’re equipping people to become.
