Kissenger, Nixon, and the Bombing Halt

In his memoirs, Nixon admits that Kissenger, a former supporter of Rockefeller, had a secret role as a back channel between the government and the negotiating team. Nixon was not surprised by the proposed bombing halt and wanted to keep Kissenger's role confidential.
