Shifting to Simultaneous Regime of Quality

The shift from a time-based regime to a simultaneous regime with distinct quality is disrupting our ability to adapt to change when the rate, periodicity, and intensity of change surpass a certain level. Throughout history, major regime shifts occurred such as the transition to a paradigmatic mind during the fall of the bronze age and the birth of the axial age. This paradigmatic mind allowed for a more fluid adaptive rate over hundreds or even a thousand years before a significant change occurred. Currently, with periods of disruption and novelty occurring more frequently, the focus is on identifying a qualitative change rather than just speed, transitioning from rhythm to tone to describe this change in quality.
