Aristotle's Virtue Ethics: The Goldilocks Theory
Aristotle's famous idea in his ethics is that the virtuous action will lie at the mean between two extremes./nEach kind of virtue is a mean between some excessive tendency and a tendency towards deficiency./nExamples of virtues include temperance, courage, and generosity./nThe goldilocks theory of virtue is choosing and enjoying what is not too much, not too little, but just right./nIt is not necessary to engage in everything in moderation, as some actions, like incest or unprovoked murder, should not be done at all.
