Food is one of the five external goods./nVirtuous habits are required to make decisions about what to eat and how much, or when to eat it, to prevent excess and potential harm./nExhibiting temperance in making decisions, such as avoiding unhealthy food and sticking to a diet, is an example of Aristotle's virtue of temperance./nModeration, or temperance, is a virtue that can help humans avoid problems in various aspects of life./nAristotle had two primary moral virtues: temperance and courage./nAristotle viewed courage as more than just physical bravery, but also doing difficult things to ultimately achieve a goal.
