The overused Agile word

The term 'Agile' has become an overused and misinterpreted word in software development. Deviating from 'Agile' requires extensive explanation, while sticking to it often leads to a shallow understanding and misapplication of Agile methodologies. This overreliance on the term has resulted in situations where Agile only represents superficial practices such as stand-up meetings, rather than embracing the core principles of adaptive software development.
