Over assigning homework in public schools does not necessarily make kids smarter as there is no scientific evidence to support it. This excess homework burdens both parents and children, leaving little time for family life and enjoyment. Such a situation may deter individuals from wanting to have children, especially if they observe the stress and anxiety caused by excessive homework. Parents, who typically express happiness about having kids, might be influenced by cognitive dissonance and biological factors. However, those who have not experienced parenthood may find it challenging to understand the joy it brings. Experiencing the effects of excessive homework generation often leads to a negative perception of having kids, potentially impacting the birth rate.
