Recognizing and understanding the source of anxiety and emotional wounds is crucial. Temporary coping mechanisms may provide relief, but true healing comes from nurturing, loving, and forgiving ourselves. Changing negative thought patterns and embracing the spirit of God through prayer and gratitude helps heal the mind and soul. Accepting Jesus as our Savior saves our spirit, but our soul still requires healing. Symptoms are signals indicating the need for healing at the root level. Connecting with God daily and letting go of control allows for gradual healing of the mind, soul, and ultimately the brain.
