Understanding Relationships: Leaves, Branches, and Roots

Creating distance in relationships can be more significant than outright cutting people off. Establishing boundaries is essential, and those who react negatively to these boundaries are often the individuals for whom the boundaries were initially set. There are three categories of people in one's life: leaves, branches, and roots. Leaves represent transient relationships that are supportive during good times but are likely to vanish during hardships. Branches are somewhat more reliable than leaves but still not as dependable as roots. Roots are the steadfast individuals who provide unwavering support throughout life's challenges, remaining present regardless of the circumstances. Recognizing these distinctions is crucial for fostering a healthy and fulfilling life, as it allows for better relationship management and understanding of whom to rely on fully.
