Recommended Rep Ranges for Strength Building
For effective strength building, it is recommended to perform sets of three to six repetitions. The focus should be on keeping the repetitions low, ideally around three to six, to optimize strength gains. While singles can lead to increased strength, higher volume with slightly heavier weights, such as sets of four, is generally more efficient for time management and overall progress. Sets of eight can also contribute to strength gains, but they are less efficient compared to the lower rep ranges.
