Partitioning States for Understanding

When trying to understand a universe or system, it is crucial to partition the states into subsets that include states parallel to and outside of the thing. By carefully considering how these states are connected, a further set of states, termed blanket states, need to be introduced. These blanket states facilitate a bidirectional exchange between internal and external states, creating a holistic understanding of the system by distinguishing between internal, external, sensory, and active states.
