For instance, constantly comparing oneself to unrealistic standards, following strict diets, and forcing unpleasant exercise routines out of shame can lead to feelings of hunger, misery, frustration, and ultimately, giving up on the goals. In such scenarios, pushing harder or striving for perfection is not the solution.
