Responsibility of Bani Israel and the consequences of neglecting it

The responsibility of Bani Israel consisted of worshiping only Allah and spreading the message of Tawhid to other nations. By neglecting these responsibilities, they caused 'facade' or corruption. This passage highlights that if the chosen nation fails to uphold their duties to Allah and spreading moral monotheism, they will face humiliation instead of destruction, unlike other ancient nations. The Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam is reminded of this consequence.
