Most physicians do not understand the inaccuracies about the WHO and hormone therapy, leaving patients with false beliefs./nThe enduring legacy that hormones, specifically estrogen, cause breast cancer and that hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is synonymous with breast cancer is inaccurate./nThe study implied that MPA, not estrogen, is causing breast cancer based on the reduction of incidence of breast cancer in the group only receiving estrogen while the group receiving estrogen plus MPA saw a potential increase in incidence.
