What is a Good Life? #65 - How People Actually Change with George & Linda Pransky

What is a Good Life?

NOTE

Understanding Behavior Change

Blaming or justifying one's experience will not help in changing behavior. Instead of blaming or justifying, understanding what one's thinking is doing and how beliefs and perspectives are influencing actions is crucial. By understanding the impact of one's thoughts on oneself, clarity will naturally emerge. Justification and blame, like 'I feel this way because of something external', only keep negative experiences in place. Regardless of the truth, the focus should be on wanting to feel better and understanding the root of behavior to achieve positive change.
